Kindergarten and
Nursery:
Most pre-school age
children in Dheisheh spend their days in the
alleys of the camp because of the shortage of
kindergartens and child care. In 1997 Ibdaa opened
its gender-mixed kindergarten and nursery to
address this need. The kindergarten and nursery
programs provide young children with a positive
place to grow and develop.

Library:
The library,
with over 1000 books in English and Arabic, promotes
reading and cultural awareness through afterschool
programs. Over 360 children are registered members.
Children come to read, watch educational videos,
play educational games, do arts and crafts, and
travel on field trips.

We offer frequent workshops to adults and teens in
the community on topics such as health, human
rights, leadership development, women's empowerment,
and technology skills. |
